Back in 2010, a friend offered to sew a custom cycling cap for me. The magic of watching flat fabric turn into a 3D shape before my eyes had me hooked. Six states, four kids and countless bags later, Howdy has grown into company focused on creating softgoods for families. I’ve often railed against fast fashion, and designed obsolescence, to anyone who would listen - Boots Theory, corporate branding, poor material selection - don’t get me started.

American made materials. Sustainable, recycled fabrics. Triple stitched and bound edges. High quality hardware. No nonsense design that’s repairable if the play gets a bit too rough. These are the qualities of the bags I want share with my kids, and I hope you do too.
