Two Hour Zip Top Crossbody Class

Join us in our workshop to learn the basics of making a bag! Over the course of 2 hours, you will dive into the world of bag making, and create your own zip pouch!

What Will We Do? 

This is a hands on class, covering the basics of bag making. All of the tools and materials will be provided, allowing you to learn and create. I’ll guide you through the process of creating a zipper pouch. Working together, we will cover materials, patterning, sewing techniques, construction, and sewing machine operation. Throughout the class we will engage in discussions to better understand the significance of each step in the process.

How Will You Grow?

Time spent under guidance produces quicker results. If you are interested in how things are made, or the process to start making your own things, this is a great place to start. By keeping the class size small, each workshop can focus on the particular interests of that student. Have you always wondered about zippers, and their sizing and installation? Is binding a particular frustration? Fascinated by the world of textiles? I’ll do my best to tailor each class to you.

Sewing is one of the oldest crafts, and through this class I hope you gain an appreciation for this wonderful art.

What Bag Will You Make?

You will make a Hey Friend! to take home! The colors, and strap details are customizable in class.
